We are Bury Society for Blind and Partially Sighted People, a small, registered charity base in Bury, Lancashire. We are looking to recruit a part time Development Worker for visually impaired, for 21 hours per week to work as part of our small, committed staff team and alongside over 80 dedicated volunteers. The purpose of this new and exciting role is to continue the good work already underway and develop this further through:
consulting effectively with existing and potential service users alongside local people/ groups to explore opportunities for inclusion for people with sight loss
Establish and maintain new partnerships
Recruit, manage and retain a team of dedicated project-specific volunteers
Deliver training and awareness sessions
